Laila is truly one of the rarest Arabian mares you will ever find. Being a "Homozygous Black" Straight Egyptian mare truly makes her a "1 in 100" mare. She is a Black Breeders Dream. Being very tall for a Straight Egyptian, at 15.1 hands barefoot, makes her even more unusual and special. She has long correct legs, great feet, a short strong back and powerful hip. She has a kind, trainable temperament and is an exceptional mother. She has had three foals; two grey fillies, and one black colt, and is an excellent producer. Her second filly, Al Amira Al Raquassa, is in Egypt and is a successful halter mare. Her black colt is by our own Samir Al. His name is Al Adham Al Shadeed and is owned by Robin Lee and  Mohammad Waly. She is of the rare El Samraa tail female line.
